sup guys,

just wanted to get some opinions....I'm getting an aftermarket bumper/lip (sarona...yes i know its fiberglass...and its weak) in a week or or so... My bumper is a little deformed in some places because it seems like it was replaced before i bought the car, also the paint on the bumper mismatches the body of the car, and the paint job was so bad it chips in some places, on top of that I scractched the bumper near one of the fog lights(2x2 scrape which i painted over, but you can definately see its been painted over)...

Question is.....should I put it on now when i get it and paint it? Or should i wait till spring? I've been waiting for a front lip for a long time, and really want to add the ground effects...so its very tempting.

I've been driving with my current setup for about 3months already.(bumper doesn't match body, scrape...and a little deformed(but that's not a big problem looks wise since its almost not there)

thanks guys.

Wait until the weather gets nicer, then paint

That way the salts and stuff when the weather gets nasty it chips the sh&@ out of bumpers, just like it did to mine

Definitely wait. I'm going to redo my front lip next spring. No point of doing it now, it'll get all chip up during the winter.
