I remember reading about this a few times and I thought the final outcome was that it really did not make you any faster but instead just made it feel faster. Maybe I am wrong though.

I just realized the name this tripod site is under is bgarner. Is this Ben Garner? AKA mzmtg? If so then he will be the one you might want to send a private message to and ask him how he likes it etc.

What is scary though is when I saw the bgarner name I was like "Hmmmm B Garner I know that name, Yeah thats it Ben Garner.... is this someone I go to school with or something why does it sound so familiar....?" What scared me is the lines between the .org and real life seem to be getting fuzzy

There are some things you might wanna consider before you do this.... 1) a tranny cooler 2) do you really know what your doing to your tranny?

just a little insight.. it works WELL.. but you may not like what your gonna get

I tried it and felt the difference in shifts but not acceleration. You can try it just by unplugging it and then decide if you wnat a switch.

I know what you mean... one time I was driving with a friend and saw a hooked up Max. I said "hey, I think that's XXXXX" (forget who) and he asked how I knew him. I thought, well I guess I don't really, but I know his car

i think the passat is a little heavier, but the extra weight will be offset by his manual tranny... so it all depends on how good of a driver your friend is
