Okay, I hear a noise when I turn the wheel, probably from springs, happens more when stopped or going slow. Did search, found it is probably strut bearing. The thing is, my steering also tends to stick - like the car will pull in the direction of the last 90 degree turn made. Now, before I buy them, does anyone know if strut bearings could cause that as well, or do I have a bigger prob? Also, everyone here found strut bearings for $20 each, everyone around here asks $40. Did the prices double or do I live in the oem parts hell of the south?

Loose steering after a turn can also be due to poor wheel alignment. If you do replace the strut bearings, you will also have to get a wheel alignment afterwards anyways, because the struts will have been removed.

Yeah, I know I'll have to get an alignment. I just got an alignment like 3 weeks ago, and they noticed the steering thing then and pointed it out to me. In fact, he said he had never seen anything like it. Thanks for the input though. Either way, it sucks having to pay $160 in one month for an alignment. ($69.99 = tax twice) I think everything in Baton Rouge is over priced.

The wheel bearings fixed eveything. My old ones were completely fowked, grease coming out and everything. Thanks everyone, no noise at all now!

I have the same problems, but they have to replace my whole axel, well thats what the guy told me. He said it would cost about $100.00 but I have a Warrenty and I am going to take it in next week to get fixed. It stinks so so bad...

That is not bad, considering the godforsaken bearings cost me $90! I realize I could have gotten them cheaper if I had them shipped to me, but I wanted to fix it before anything got hurt. Anyway,it's too bad I played with my shocks and springs, or else my suspension would be under warranty as well.
