Great day... better night :) FUN FUN FUN!

Well, first off I got my intake adapter and all whatnot BACK on the car. Heh, then tonight around say, 11:30PM(Mountain time) I do this: 130MPH!!! Yeah... not that impressive, but someone wouldnt switch lanes in time so I had to slow, but I got a picture! And some others of my finished mod... So check it out.

Ok.. heres the air box after I destroyed it doing the ghetto gold ring intake.

have a friend take the picture next time

scary story...i was in the car with a friend the other day, and i had just installed my new d/c clears....well the left sidemarker doesnt "snap" in, but its in pretty tight (so i thought)...well, he's like open this b!tch up, lets see what it can do....so sooner than later, im passed 130, and i hear a loud THUD..im like omfg wtf was that....i slow down, get my racing helmut on, he holds the steering wheel, and i stick my head far out the window, and notice my clear corner hanging by the harness....i pull over, pop it back in, and go on my way....

cliff notes: dont go 130 with a loose clear corner

Happened to me but not at those speeds, I think it was the orange stock corner that did it though, I think a rock hit it and it flew off

Yeah, that wasn't a very good idea. Not worth it.

I think that might qualify as the dirtiest engine bay ever.

May I suggest doing any high speed runs during the day when visibility is good. While there's less people on the highways at night, think about what it would take for something strange to pop up in your lane...and what it might cost. Heh...I don't even do these at all in the Max, suspension isn't calm enough and couldn't take any tickets, but to say I've never done them in the past would be lying.
(Hey, got a stock 1.8L non-vtec integ up to 130 before)

Congrats on the mod. But really man...clean up that engine bay

Dirt + Dark Paint = dirty

Hehehe. Yeah living on a dirt road really sucks. I wash my car like once in a great moon, because it is really just a waste of water other wise :P But yeah, the car is midnight green or whatever.

I would have done it during the day, but I25 during the day is hell. I can barely get to 90... So yeah... But anyway It was fun, didnt come close to dying and best of all it was fun :P

Went skiing at Taos and Angel Fire one season. Was incredible. Was warm enough to wear shorts but still a 4 foot base.

lived in Ohio. Went skiing out east: 7 springs, Peak n' Peak, Holiday valley.
Lived in Oklahoma. Drove to either Colorado or New Mexico. Taos, Angle Fire, Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin.
Now I live outside Chicago and have not gone skiing in a while.

I'm glad you didn't HURT anyone while taking the picture. Just curious though, what's the tach reading at a speed like that?

hmm

cool. but be careful doing it. I was never able to go over 115 mph due to my speed limiter.

and even Accords go up to 130 mph
And unless you've got 2000+ max or 4th gen with VI, our top end power $ucks.

I have raced vs newer Prelude and he smoked me going 60+ mph. the end.

I know what you mean about the clears popping out...A friend of mine had just replaced his corners with clears, and we were going over the bridge in Mobile at 140 mph and I heard a pop ...when we reached our destination, we got out to find the clear hanging from the front of the car. Needless to say, he had to make sure that it was securely in after that.
