Temperature Guage

My temperature gauge in my 95 Maxima used to hang at the half mark when warmed up. Lately the gauge moves down to the quarter mark or a little under the half mark. Is this normal? BTW I have the 0707(Rear Heated O2 Sensor) CEL on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.(I've also tried resetting the ECU, but the CEL came back up)

You need a new thermostat. Replace that first, reset your ECU and see if you still get a CEL. If so, and it's O2 again, then replace that also.

Do you know by any chance how much a thermostat costs? Thanks for the help

I doubt it's my coolant temp sensor because I just put a new one in 3,000 miles ago
