southwest autoworks fstb review

Well after purchasing the fstb last friday..I got same day shipping for free. The bar comes and looks great, but alas missing a 22m driver so I go and get one today and start my install. Doh...99 sel that darn braket on the driver side..pfft..So I get rid of that perfect fit on the strut bar...tightened her up. Looking good cleaned off some finger prints.

*Test drive*
I noticed right off the bat the steering seemed tighter, the front end really seems to respond now. I take it to my fav curve, and wow what a difference.

Anyways..I know its a short review..but for the price and looks u cant beat it. Great product..southwest autoworks.

Very nice! What a price, too....

So no interference with the brake fluid reservoir? Seems like it's right in-line with the tops of the struts (at least on my 95 GXE)...

I have Ebay FSTB and actually I'm worried that it may in the future damage my A/C pipe. Oh well, I'll try to squeeze in sponge or something between FSTB and A/C pipe.

Can you explain the fitting problems with the SE-L. I have a 99 SE-L as well. Did you order the one that says 97-99(non-SEL) or do they carry one made for the SE-L?
Thanks,
Dan

I'm not sure if they make one for the sel...if you look on the driver side. There is a braket of sorts on the front with a bolt hole, I have an intake..I cant remember if the stock intake housing bolted there or not. I had to cut mine off..at least part of it...I'm going to finish it up later..and dremel it all the way away. Its not worth paying extra money for a stillen just to not get rid of the bracket.
