yes

yes the $30 some odd dollars is worth it for this mod
what can i expect to feel when i put it on and go for a spin?
tighter steering, better steering repsonse, front end feels more planted.

this takes 15 minutes to put on and is $30 you cant go wrong.

He's right on. My advice: when you do the install, tighten it one more turn than you think it can go. When I did mine, me, hlh0501 and another friend put all of our effort into turning it around one more time and it works great! Don't overtorque the nuts! Good luck!

im close to buying one too. I see all these on ebays and i don't get why the prices vary so much. the price varies based on looks? I woudln't cared if mine looked like **** but as long as they all work and not like.... snap in half or something.

nah u want it to look shiny so you can impress people when you pop your hood.. just buy one that looks good on the pic, a nice polished one

and to answer the original post, the main difference i noticed is the steering feel is much tighter on the highway, the wheel doesnt move on its own when you go over bumps as much as it did before

I just bought a Stillen FSTB and RSB. I installed the FSTB in under 10 min and torqued back to spec. The difference is like night and day. Even my gf who isn't overly mechanically inclined can tell the difference in lane changes and turns.

I can't wait to get the RSB in. That is one thick mo'fo'!

Other than paying for the name of Stillen, I couldn't see the reason for spending so much for one, when a 25 dollar one on ebay works just the same. I got one made by Bomz racing (stupid name I know, but it works great and looks nice under the hood), bolted in my 99 SE perfectly, and it did tighten up my front end alot. That and clear corners are all I've done to my max so far. But an Addco sway bar is in the not too distant future.

I'm with you on the price choice
Stillen's prices are way up there comparing to Ebay's.
Got mine shipped for 32bucks.

My thoughts exactly - I got a brand new polished aluminum bar that fits perfectly for $12 on Ebay - shipping cost as much as the bar did, but for $24 total vs Stillen's $187 plus shipping(from their site) I'm not complaining..
With the savings, I can buy an Addco RSB.

oh.. and you may as well buy a torque wrench while you're at it.. about $18 from Ebay

What wording do you use to "search" for on Ebay? Gotta Link?

from the car & truck parts menu type in "nissan maxima" or "maxima" and a whole list of categories will form on the left (i.e. - interior, exterior, wheels, gauges....yada yada.) there are about 1000 strut bars in the appropriate category.

Can't say I feel the same way. FSTB made a bigger difference to me, but the RSB was most definitely noticable. I wonder how the the RSTB will be since I didn't find so much gain with the RSB...

with FSTB ur front part of ur car will feel a lot more secure when makin fast turns... but max itself has a BIG BUTT therefore the RSB will take care of tat problem... but defintely get FSTB and stiff up the suspension =)
