Please post pics of pedals

I'm thinking about getting some new pedals, and was wondering what is out there. I heard the AE pedals look pretty good, but I can't find any pics, cause the search function needs atleast 3 letters or it doesn't work. All pics appreciated

It says on custommaxima that the ae pedals only fit 2000-2001. Will they fit 4th gens?

JR Nissan has the 4th gen pedals, with a deadpedal, for a really good price...

yeah Nokya pedals are weak. the clutch and brake for me are ok, but the gas pedal doesn't fit right, and only uses 3 out of the 4 clips, so it keeps getting loose.

i'll be getting AE pedals soon too probably

Mine fit fine and use all four corner clips...it is adjusted left all the way to the right edge of the stock pad.

yours might be a little different then. I don't really like the fact that they are just universal pedal covers too, I like something with an exact fit for our cars, like the AE pedals, a lot more.

The only reason I bought the Nokya pedals was cuz I had an extreme urge to rice out my car when I first got it. Should have just bought the AE pedals from the beginning.

true... my brake petals are kinda stickin out to the rite side which is really disturbing, sometimes i kept hittin on the brake petal when i'm gasing... but now i got used to the small proportion... universal petals sux

Alex at www.southwestautoworks.com owns a Maxima. His prices are already low but he might be able to cut you a deal if you speak with him. He's on the .org once in a while.

i was considering those Nokya pedals Alex sells since it's such a cheap price and they seem to look okay to me but I didn't know of fitment issues..

I will probably be getting AE pedals.. How well do they fit 4th gens?

Here are Alex's pedals on my 93 Maxima
http://autos.werd.com/thurznite/pics...3%20pedals.JPG

And here they are on my gf's Altima (yeah, she drives 5sp and races as often as I do)
There are no fitment issues and I've placed the brake and gas pedals as close as possible to facilitate heal-and-toe braking

They look nice, but they also look like they would be slippery.

my gf drives barefoot (wants better feedback for agressive driving) and doesn't have a problem with slippage.
I haven't had any problems with them either.

Barefoot? I don't know if anyone has ever told you or her, but street car pedals are not setup for barefoot driving, that is unless you have size 16 feet or something. It may not be obvious, but the angle your heel rests on the floor, a shoe will hold your foot 2" or more higher off the floor than barefoot. Furthermore, unless she has leather for skin, that isn't a good idea. It's good to have a certain amount of hardness between your foot and the pedals, so as to create a certain amount of flatness. Lastly, ESPECALLY with those metal pedals, it's very easy to hurt your feet on them.

I'm sorry, but driving around barefoot in a street car, especially with metal pedals, is just not a smart idea.

As for slipperiness, in dry weather, with proper shoes for driving (i.e. not slippery bottomed like dress shoes), it should be fine. I'm just worried about when it gets wet.

Info on AE pedals

According to what I have figured out, AE pedals look like these:

Link to pic of Z pedals

They are available as manual or auto. The deadpedal is not included, but JR nissan knows the part number to include it at a reasonable price. These are the same (or VERY similar) to the pedals in the new 350 Z and in AE editions. These are direct replacement and were designed for Nissans, specifically the Max.

My Nokya pedals fit perfectly, and although they may be universal, they fit the Maxima pedals just right.

I don't know why some of you have had problems with them fitting

They're real nice pedals, definitely not rice as someone stated above
