Injen and Franken car both have dyno's. Go look at the Injen, and then do overlays of the Frakencar, remember you want more power across the RPM range.

The one that works the best is the one that cuts into the fender, and gets the intake air from outside, not the engine bay. The best intake will be the weapon R cold air box if it cuts into the fender. It would consist of an intake that looks much like the frankencar. The filter would be surrounded by a box over the fender. The fender and bottom of the box would be opened up so that the air coming in would be from outside, while still keeping the piping minimal, and avoiding any engine heated air. This would be a true hybrid setup; an intake that has minimal piping, and gets cool air. The hybrids of today (they are really short ram intakes with a cool name,) have more piping than popchargers, and get hot air, a hybrid of the negatives of popchargers and CAI's.

Just to let u guys know... the frankencar is louder on AUTOMATICS. It is somewhat louder on 5-spds.. but no where near how loud on automatics. Well... before the frankencar, i did have a cone filter and all it did was decrease the amount of sound at WOT.

i have an injen and i love it. it hisses when you tap push the gas in about an inch, and whn you gun it its just amazing it just screams at high rpm. and its much louder outside then inside. i havent heard the frankencar one but injen sounds very nice.

ah yes that reminds me, the sound that's most noticable (at least to driver) is the whistling the intake now makes w/ a frankencar... not bad, just weird

I love that whistling sound but I just can't figure out how to drive so that it would make that sound all the time. I am a 5 speed so that may not allow me to maintain the sound.
