Hesitation at low RPM on '97 SE 5-speed

I have a slight hesitation at low RPM's on my '97 SE 5-speed. Are there any common problems that would cause this symptom? Thanks

Check your ECU for a knock sensor code.

Check your air filter and clean your throttle body.
