0214 EVAP canister purge colume control valve or circuit fault
I have an 0214 code stored on my car. According to the Haynes manual, it denotes EVAP canister purge colume control valve or circuit fault. Looking at a diagram of the evap system (diagram 20.1 "Schematic of the EVAP sytem" in the Haynes manual), and 20.10, it appears that all I have to replace is the EVAP canister.
I am correct in my diagnosis?

EVAP system....
The EVAP control valve is located on the front of the canister on the right.... the valve is 65.92 for the 96' and it requires an o-ring.. if i am not wrong the newer models are a little different and and this is all built together and is still only 65.92.... it will take only 3 min.s to fix it if this is the problem, it just plugs right into the canister, this is the only think I can think of... b/c I dont compleatly understand the code...but it sounds like what happened to my car about two weeks ago but I was getting P0440, so I am not sure whats going on but I have most of the charts on line... if you need them email me....Maxima_gle@hotmail.com Hope this helped....Jason
