i believe its the "rubber o-seal ring" youre talking bout
cuplet no1 will understand
my solution, i just didnt have one...hahahah
i think when i took apart my stuff last time when cleaning my throttle body, i just did not realize i 4got to put that ring back in...i dunno how much of a difference it makes, i guess its just a tighter seal
jus play around with the tubing and twist the MAF towards the rear of the car more and you'll get a better fit, i know its tight but if u do it one pipe at a time, u wont have a prob, its ok to use sum pressure

I think your talking about the hose connections, if so then what you can do is run hot water over the rubber "cuplet" so that it will expand and then try to slide it over the MAF.

i had similar problem with my midpipe hose.. jus be patient with it and try to stretch it out. eventually it will slip over the maf. make sure you don't overtighten the clamps, it could crack the plastic.
