95-96: What wire to cut to make cruise "Always on"?

I drive a 96 GLE w/ cruise and hate how it turns off when I shut the car off. I know that there is a wire to cut to make it stay on when the car is on. When I say "on," I mean enabled, not actually engaged, by the way. I searched and found info on this mod for 97-99s, but nothing on 95-96.

So what wire do I cut to make cruise "Always on" in my 96?

yea i did it for my 95, but i didn't cut any wire. just get a 1 inch piece of 14 gauge wire(don't get 15+ guage could melt wire). Attatch to flat head wire connectors to each end. Then thake out the ASCD (Auotmatic Speed Control Device). For the 95 mine was in the black box right in front of the battery. Take the that piece of wire you just put the flathead connectors oon and put that in place of the ASCD fuse. Hope this helps
