High beam light comes while driving

High beam light comes while driving

has anyone had this problem? i was driving and the light flashed on & then turned off then it stayed on for about a 1min then off????? but i didn't even high beam. if i would to turn them on & off it would just stay on.

I think your combi switch is malfunctioning. If it happens again, I would check that first.
Small possibility, wiring problem but you mentioned it stayed on ... if it didn't flicker while you were on the go, I doubt it's a wiring short.

High beam light comes on to tell you one of your headlights is out. Sounds like one of them is either dead or on its way out or loose.

really it means that one of my headlights blubs is going bad then. casue both of them work right know. the light does flash sometimes but this time it just stayed on.when im driveing. i drove it 2day and it was fine. and i do still have a problem starting too no click or noise could that be a problem. but it starts every time tho. but my check engine light came on but i think its my coolant temp sensor again (just cleared it the first time) i'll check when i go to work.

wow, i dind't know that! thanks eric

so when your blinker starts blinking fast.... like you've got a hyper blinker, does that mean the blinker light is either not functioning or is loose? I'm only asking because my dad's corolla just started doing that and i was kinda confused. Thanks
