gotta love have a hood that will stay up without the chance of it falling ... i saw that you tied it to something up high, which isn't a bad idea, i used a broom and my head

I was changing my oil once and I had my hand near the hood while I was underneath the car. About a second after I moved my hand the hood fell. That would have hurt so bad if it had fallen on my fingers

man, my hood slammed shut on my thumb, I was at the end of the car and I had to yell to my friend on the OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE to come, find the hood release, and pull it, my thumb nail is still recovering.....

I was planning to do this, this weekend since the weather was so nice. Do you just rip it off?

my left shock (whatever it's called) leaked oil and it doesn't work anymore. I went to a junkyard and ripped a hood-opener-stick from a mazda something and i gotta use it to keep it open... then take it off and put it in the trunk lol. pretty damn ghetto...

how much did you pay for your's and where did you get it?? I went to an auto store and it cost 30 bucks just for one!

In Canada, at a Canadian Tire store.
I forget the model number, but the brand was STRONG ARM. The store looked it up for me.
The cost was about $24 U.S. each ($38 Cdn).

cheers!
