EGT gauge readings?

I installed it , and was wondering is it normal readings.
Driving 65ish I get 1000 - 1100 degrees F. This in without S/C. What should I expect with it?

I just installed an EGT gauge this weekend. On the drive to work at 65-70 mph I was exactly at those temperatures. I'm NA, too. I didn't get a chance to got WOT, but at about 3/4's throttle it rose to about 1200F after a few seconds.

Those are normal numbers guys.

NA in the quarter mile, I would get just about 1500*F. You're not in much trouble until you get close to 1600*F.

Hm...even with a SC, my EGT reading is about the same as yours.

Which is a good thing. The added fuel will keep the EGT's down. The stock fuel map is a little rich, so maybe you are too?
