Starting problems with my Maxima...anyone experience this before?

Okay, so as I started my engine, it starts right up then the idle goes up and down a little like my car is going to die. Sometimes, when I start the car, it doesn't start at the first time. The second time then it starts. It being doing this to me since last week. My car runs strong, fast, and great after it starts. Nothing wrong ther, but I can't seem to find what the starting problem is...any help would be great. The things I have already done...Check ecu errors(nothing detected), new starter, new fuel filter, and new knock sensor. I have also add new performance parts to my car like exhaust, intake w/ filter, pulley, y pipe, test pipe, and so on. Any help would be great. Thanks.

try cleaning your throttle body. Also check to see where your idle is set out (ie. run car with TPS disconnected).

Actually, I did that about 6 month ago...but I'll try cleaning it again. By the way what did you mean by TPS, is it okay to run it disconnected? Thanks.

TPS= Throttle Position Sensor. No you cann't run with it disconnected. Check the FAQ thread on top, there is also a process for cleaning your IACV valve. (intake Air Control Valve) That valve controls your idle speed. If it's dirty or lazy it may not react fast enough to keep your idle stable upon startup.
