EGT's - need help comparing my numbers

Here's my setup:

Stillen SC
3.25" Pulley
MEVI
WSP Y-Pipe and B-Pipe
Stillen Exhaust
1 step colder NGK Copper Plugs
Cartech FMU
T-Rex Aux. Fuel Pump.

<all temps below are in farenheight>

EGT's are at 400 when i start the car, and slowly rise to 900 degrees.

Normal driving when warmed up is between 800 and 900 degrees

At full boost, on a good run, I peak at about 1300, then drop to 1000 when I let off for a few minutes, then it slowly drops back to 900.

So what am I looking here. Are these numbers about right?

Thanks!
IanS

Where exactly is your EGT probe located? If it is located in the front exhaust manifold, those numbers are about right. I run those same numbers with my 100-shot of juice....

If those numbers are with a probe in the y-pipe right where the two down-pipes meet, those are kinda high, more info is needed.....

The probe is on the rear bank pipe of the Y-Pipe.

If it is on the middle of the rear bank part of the y-pipe, or somewhat close, your numbers are about right. Since that rear bank is the one to mainly run lean because those cylinders are on the end of the fuel rail, that indicates slight leanness. What disk are you using for the fuel system?????

Not using discs.
Using a Cartech Adjustable FMU.

Yes, that's the reason I put it there - because I figure the rear bank will go lean first.

According to the Dyno i did 2 weeks ago, I start at about 12.1:1 then rise up to where I'm at 13.0:1 right at reldine.

you're fine....you could even go "slightly" leaner and still be just fine.

You saying that because of what my A/F is at or my EGTs?

I'm basically just trying to get a baseline so that when I tune, I know where to watch out.

Thanks,
IanS
