Y-Pipe volume from inside?

Have done the search, but most posts are from folks who have modded intakes, which are already louder...So the volume level of the y-pipe would be hard to detect anyway. My question is to those of you without other breathing/exhaust mods...Is the volume level of the y-pipe noticeable from inside the max? During idle? On the highway?

Thanks.

According to your status, you are a maxima enthusiast...but your question does not reflect that at all. Without an exhaust, you do not hear it inside your car. It makes your exhaust at idle deeper from the outside. This will help you further

There is almost no noticible change. Right after I installed the pipe it did seem to have a very, very slight rumble/growl but it diminished by about half after about a weeks worth of driving. It's impressively quiet.

i think its decently noticeable...with just the ypipe (and intake), there is a slight rumble when you start the car up...i like it tho....while giving it VERY light throttle, youll hear a nice rumble as well....at WOT, you can hear it as well....

Here is what my car sounds like with the ypipe...hope it helps

Jsl,
Taken from your post..."I lowered the car back, and pulled out of my driveway. Just tapping the gas, I hear a slightly deeper rumble, nothing too annoying."

I got the impression from posts like this that the volume increase might be noticeable but "nothing too annoying". I like my max just the way it is...nice & quiet. But my exhaust system is showing signs of age and might need a few replacement parts in the near future. A y-pipe seems like a logical upgrade if I can keep it nice & quiet.

Thanks for your interest though.

Axra, thanks for the feedback.

Jamsan, I couldn't have asked for more...Thanks for the video/audio clip. Sounds pretty stock, until you kick it up a notch where it sounds great.

Thanks again.
