I've had the Knock Sensor code (0304) and the Idle control sensor code (0205) in my ECU for a while now. What does the Idle control sensor code mean?? Is it difficult to replace? Expensive? I'm thinking about going ahead and replacing the KS too. Any suggestions/comments? Thanks. BTW, whats the part # for a 95 KS?

 

Try Cleaning your IAC valve....stickie at the top of the forum....hopefully thatll get rid of the 0205...if not, you might have a faulty unit....after that reset the ECU, if 0304 is still there, guess what

 

Part number for the knock sensor is #22060-30P00. I had seen these on Ebay if your looking for an inexpensive way of paying for one. If not, try Brown and Brown Nissan in Tempe, AZ. That's where I had purchased mine. Prices are very reasonable. Good luck!!!

 

Is buying stuff like knock sensors off of e-bay safe? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy it from a dealer?
