Supra wheels

does any one know if the 93 5-spoke supra wheels will fit on a 96 max? i think they are 17x9 in the rear and 17x8 in the front(i will put the 17x9 on the front)just wonderin cause my friend is getting new wheels and tires for his supra and i need some decent rims for a low price.
thanx

wheels

I read somewhere that 8.5 was the widest you could go on a max without spacers. I never tried, but at least it is some input.

Stock supra wheels are only 16" I believe. Anyhow I wouldn't put wheels of differing differing widths on your car, it will look retarded and be a nightmare for rotating them. If anything put the wider ones on the back, there's more room back there. Maybe you can find a 2 pairs of supra front wheels so they aren't so wide?

What Jeff is sayin is that the center bore will not clear the hubs.

The stock Supra wheels are 16 inches while the turbo wheels are 17 inches. I think that the 16's should be fine but you definetly need spacers for the 17's.

I thought someone on here had these wheels at one point? Or where they off an RX-7? I thought they came from a Supra though.

As far as i know the 16 inch wheels come only on n/a models. The turbo has 17inch wheels that look a little better to me, buuut supra guys say the n/a wheels are stronger and since they are 16s, people love them for draging
