* Help *

I'm trying to replace a fog lamp housing on my '99 I30 and I'm having a ton of problems!!! It seems that you have to take off the bumper. Sounds easy, right? Wrong!!!

Where can I get instructions for doing this? Do I need a Chilton's?

Thanks. I had to do some trial and error. The Max just requires popping off the side marker lamp. However, on the I30 there's a screw that you have to remove on the backside first (I almost ended up needing to buy a side marker lamp, too ).

To get to that screw, you have to take off the underside splash shield. All in all, it was a pain in the a$$.

Doing it myself saved about $250 compared to what the dealer would have charged.

Thanks to those that tried to help.

Actually, $375!!! The housing is $200 retail, but I got it from a dealer online for about $135.
