Anyone experiencing low throttle (1200-1600rpm) sensitivity in their 5sp.? There's a TSB out for 2000-2001 5spd.s that describes the EXACT problem I'm having. The Max will surge forward and then back off, a real pain in the **** in parking lots, stop and go, etc. My clutch is starting to shutter now after only 40k and I'm convinced it's worn motor mounts due to the engine rocking back and forth so much. Of course, when I was still under warranty the dealership said it was common- the injectors "coming on"! If anyone has dealt with this, please let me know. I'll be forever in your debt.

 

old thread, but i'll chime in. my car does the surge/lurch thing cuz the motor mounts are dead. No chatter on my almost dead clutch and I'm at 102k.
