weight difference? 4th vs 5th gen rims

Does someone know the weight difference between a 4th generation max rim and a 5th generation rim?Nobody seems to know. I am contemplating upgrading my stock 96 gxe rims to 97 and up 16 inch rims. Any help would be appreciated.

The five spoke rims on the 97-99 rims are 19 lbs, I believe.

RIM WEIGHTS

I have searched. I can't find. I know that the 5th generation rims weigh about 19 pounds, but what about 4th generation?

5th gen SE/GLE 16" 5 spoke wheels weigh 20 lbs each.
4th gen SE 16" 5 spoke wheels weigh 19 lbs each..

It's really close, I wouldn't let the weight effect my decision in this case
I actually love the way 5th gen 16" 5 spokes look on 4th gens..

The 17" SE 5th gen wheels are approximately 23.5 lbs each.

these are all weights without tires..
the bigger the size, the heavier the tire is generally..

The 5th gen rims are probably heavier because they're 17". They look much better though.

I think the 97-99 Se 5 spokes look better than the 2000-03 5 spokes. The 5th gen ones just look to plain.

Not to sure of that, because I have seen the 01's with 16's and the 17's and a few of them had those wheels.
