I was lucky my Max wasn't killed. My dad rear-ended me in his 2002 Volvo S80 T-6 (Twin Turbo I-6). My entire rear end and I think the some exhaust needed replacing. I have pics, but I need to scan them. My dad got it the worst, someone rear-ended him and blew out the rear windshield. When I went to drop off my Max, which was still drivable, I saw a few more Max's in the lot, one had a telephone pole for lunch, and the other got it in the rear too. $5k damage to my car.

T-minus 5 days till we're reunited again. My dad already got his car back ($13k damage).

Your insurance companies must be pleased.

Oh they're thrilled. Luckily the Max was still under my dad's insurance and still titled to him so when I switch the title, I'll have a clean slate. My dad lives in NJ too, so you can probably imagine what's going to happen to his rates. Hopefully, the insurance company will be able to pin a lot of my dad's damage to the dude who hit him. I think that's where the most cost came from on his car.

The auto body shop did a great job to my dad's car, like new again. If any of you are in the Somerset Co/Middlesex Co (rt. 22) area of NJ, I can find out the shop's name in case you ever need it. I knew it was a quality place when we dropped off my car because all the cars in the lot were like Mercedes, BMWs, and other high end cars. People with those kinds of cars don't settle for anything but the best work.

Why didn't the airbag go off in the blue car? It looks like the person must have been hurt bad.

Some people actually disable them. Maybe this person did too.
