Installing MEVI, tach signal? HELP
I'm in the middle of my MEVI install and I can't find where to tap the Harlan switch for the tach signal. Where is the best place to tap the tach signal under the hood?
Thanks,
Doug D

Re: Installing MEVI, tach signal? HELP
Tap into the harness wires going to one of the coil packs in the front engine bank. I don't know what wire though. Hopefully one of the others will chime in here soon.
Shouldn't be hard to figure out what wire it is if you have a field service manual. One wire is +12V, one is ground, and the other is the signal. You want the signal one.
And make sure to set your Harlan switch to coil-on-plug config, not 6-cylinder.
