do I need to drain the radiator if I want to remove the thermostat?
So do I have to drain the radiator first if I want to remove the thermostat? I'm sure I have to because I don't drain the radiator when I remove the thermostat, wouldn't there be radiator fluid gushing out?
There was post earlier that said someone took the element out expecting fluid to come out but it didn't.
I don't think it will unless you have the coolant system vent open or the radiator cap off. If air can get into the system some how, it would.
Make sense?
