Need help with ground wire system...yes I searched...

Hey guys, I just got an R-1 system (yeah I know, ricey...but cheap) and I need to know where I attach the distal rings. Posts that I have read basically imply that anywhere on the unibody and any brackets would be satisfactory.

Can anybody with Sun system give me an idea of where they attached their wires?

Oh, and pics would definately be welcome.

Hey, thanks. Those were very informative. I installed the kit today and it was more of a pain than I expected.

But I am still having problems visualizing the advantage of the ground points detailed in the second post, as the system is not a closed loop.

What would be the advantage of connecting the wires in series rather than in parallel?

you want the wires in series to keep the wires as short as possible. I'm thinking that's why the Hyperground system links one ground point to the next. If you did parallel you would have to use longer wires.

that's my opinion
