Broadway Mirror

Hey,
I just got a Broadway Mirror yesterday. I am pretty happy with it. I was wondering what other people got for their maxima's in terms of a broadway mirror. I purchased a 270mm Flat Broadway Mirror for $17. Is that what most other people got? Thanks in advance.

Why is it called Broadway mirror?
Is it from NYC??
Or is it the mirror that NYC cab drivers have?

If yes than I don't think it looks cool on a Max.

newbies

broadway mirror is an EXTRA wide mirror.. it's called broadway, because it's BROAD.. , no.. i don't think so.. but you can see about 150% more stuff through it, just takes getting used to.

i know a few people have them.

What sucks about them is that you can't completely flip down the sun visors. =P

hmm....I might return the 270 flat then and get the convex one. But some people told me that when looking into that mirror, the cars look much smaller then they would with the regular flat mirror. Are you guys having that problem too? Thanks again

270 convex, before i gave it to my gf.. nothing right now.

Convex makes things look smaller, but if you can get used to it, it helps .. but if your perception already sucks, maybe you should stick w/the flat one.

A friend a mine bought a convex Broadway for me when she came to visit from Japan. It sukked a$$....I felt really bad, but it gave me a headache when I drove. Definitely go witht he flat one. Don't buy them from car shops. If you live in a bigger city, just hit up asian gift shops, smaller cities hit up grocery stores. They tend to be a little cheaper.

The convex ones make the cars look smaller because of the simple fact that they are convex. Just like your passenger side mirror.

"Objects in mirror are closer than they appear."

I had the 360 flat and liked it. Then I got the 300 convex and LOVED it. You can see more and I just got used to seeing all the cars a little different.

To take care of those blind spots with the broadway mirror, get those small little mirrors you can put on your side mirrors. They are convex as well, but make your car virtually have no blind spots.

my car came stock with an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. I like it. no bright lights shining in my mirror.

yea, the broadway mirrors are cool but I just love the way my interior looks. My interior is going to stay the same. no carbon fiber dash kits, or indiglo guages. I like the way it looks right down to the rear-view mirror.

Man, you're confusing the hell outta me and it's ****ing me off. Return the flat mirror and get the convex mirror in the same size. You will be able to see out of your rear passenger door, and it will take care of your blind spot.

1) return flat mirror
2) buy convex mirror
3) be happy

If you can't handle that, then stop complaining cuz there isn't much more you can do short of installing a $300 video camera setup, which isn't such a bad idea.

Yes, I'm ****ed at this thread.

Broadway has four clips, which two have springs that hold a very firm grip to your stock mirror.

I bought a Broadway 300 convex for my Maxima but moved it to my Escort instead. Found a no-name brand mirror (300mm) that was awesome. It was also convex, didn't distort the view and had a better viewing angle. Also, it had a coating that helped to reduce the glare from headlights behind.

If anyone cares, I'll look up the brand (in 3 weeks) when I get back to the US and post again.

where are you? Yeah, can you post the brand and cost of the better mirror? I don't have a problem with glare...got tint in the rear window. Hehe. However, I'm thinking about tinting my side mirrors.
