BAD sound, please help me identify it!

There's this new, AWFUL sound that has started with my car. It sounds localized to the rear of the car and more specifically the real passenger side.

You know what it sounds like when someone is dragging a bumper while driving? That scraping sound? WHat's what it sounds like when I make right hand turns. If I make a soft turn, the noise is soft, the harder the turn the more persistent and loud it is. There is no sound when turning left and when I put the car in neutral last night and made a turn, the noise was either not there or barely audible. (but I have only tried that once, so it may have been a fluke)

Can anyone give me tips as to what this noise could be? CV joint? I've had 4+ problem-free years with this car, so I forget what problems sound like. Someone help!

if it's in the rear, sounds like a brake issue. The e-brake cables have a problem in 4th gens...they can rust and cause the rear brakes to sieze. The rear brake clips were also updated for 4th gens too.

None of the times this has happened was I pressing on the brake tho. When I was going around these turns it was at speed. Not accelerating, nor actively decelerating.

THe noise won't occur when you step ON the brakes. It will be after. It makes a horrible groaning noise.

I checked my lugs and I was able to turn them about an 1/8 turn. I'm not sure that's the problem. I will test it out on my way to work, but in the meantime anyone with anymore suggestions would be helpful. Let's pretend it's not coming from the rear (maybe I'm mistaken), what does that noise usually mean? My fianceč said that's what her car sounded like when her CV joint went in her accord. I'm not sure I believe her as (and I love her to death, but) she has no attention to detail, so I'm not sure she remembers accurately.

I'd have to say that's not it. When I came into work, I didn't hit my breaks at allafter being at a dead stop and then went through a turn 20-30 seconds later and it still did the same thing. Tonight I will be taking my wheel off and just shaking the entire assembly to see if anything moves. I really hope I can find it myself.

More suggestions welcome.
