Transmission problems and options

So courtesy Nissan basically is rebuilding my transmission. They're installing a new Torque convertor, valvebody and some other thing in the transmission, all under warrenty thank god.

I'm boosting in a week or so and want to know what other option I have besides getting the vb for sure. I already have a tranny cooler, but anything else I should do to run 9 psi of boost on a v1 safely?

Also, I may not have the vb in before I have the sc. Is it ok to install the sc, and just keep the rpm's low so that the tranny has time to shift, without the vb? Or should I just keep the kit in the closet and install it after I have the vb?
