I just bought a new Optima red top battery. The place that I bought the battery didn't have any accessories. So, I had to go to Pep Boys to get some. I bought a new battery tie down, clamps, and a charging post. My question is this charging post let me connect more wires to the + battery terminal? It seem like that the post just screws onto one of the clamp's screw. I couldn't find any of them fancy looking clamps that I seen on nymax96se(I hope I got his UN right.) The stuff at Pep Boys were mostly generic stuff; nothing fancy. Btw, I decided to just reuse the battery cables, but just change the clamps.

The thing you're talking about is a screw-in extension to the battery post, right? You can throw another clamp on their to connect more wires, or just get a new clamp that has multiple connections. Look in car stereo places, you should be able to find some nice clamps. Also, does your Optima have a second set of posts?
