I just went through my second pair of Eurolights (in like 9 months).
Is there anything that will last longer and give the HID look at the same time???

Nothing will look like HID's really. There are bulbs that say they are close to HID's though. I use the sylvania sylverstars I like those a lot. There is a site called www.coolbulbs.com they have some bulbs from nokya and raybrig that are supposed to be good you can try those.

I use Piaa Xtreme White 9004s, they all right. Nice whit light with little blue. Don't do well in precipatation and black road. Stick with OEM or get HID.

As it was said somewhere in the past, you buy the bulbs to see better, not to look good. Why go for the HID look when all that cheap HID look-alikes do is p!$$ off other drivers...Get the BlueVisions and put the rest of your money into other mods...

If you have $50 burning hole in your pocket, try Silverstars. They work great. If they had not been on sale and had a rebate (making them $35), I would be running the BVs instead.

Sylvania Extra Visions blow the Phillips blue visions away! The beam is much wider across the road and just as bright if not brighter then the blue visions. I think I paid 15 bucks for the set.

I also have the PIAA's, they've only been on for a month now let's hope they last for a reasonable amout of time, otherwise I'll just plug the stock bulbs that are in the trunk.

Can't really get the HID look (purple) without getting HIDs, unless you want that cheesy blue crap (blue isn't purple)

I have narva rangepower headlights. They are really bright white with no blue. If you like that look check them out.

There are companies that do sell Purple HID look bulbs, so that is an option, I know a guy down in Mass that has em in his store

80/100 Mtec Bulbs. Nice legal 4350k color...matches Luxo cars (i've gotten a handful of complements from bimmer and lex owners). Brighter than stock. Will not melt wiring harness as long as you use some grease on the contacts. Plus the base of the bulbs are made very well, so that part won't melt either.
here's some crappy pics of my mtecs: http://thurznite.maximaclubca.com/pi...0Mtec%20Bulbs/
I got mine for $25 shipped on ebay. $30 @ my tint shop. Make sure you get the 80/100 cuz most places sell the stock 50/55, which appear less bright than stock cuz of the white color (for some reason, our eyes pick up yellow really well)

It would be cool if somebody did a comparison between Philips Bluevisions and Silverstars. I hear the Silverstars are pretty white, but are they significantly whiter than Bluevisions?

How would you say these compare to the Phillips Blue Visions? (brightness, clarity - from the driver's seat, -not looking at the outside of the car)

Good place to get them?

TIA
