alarm beep mod question

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you guys try to alarm beep mod. Besides the relay and buzzer, what else do I need? Do I need a soldering gun? I just wanted to know what did you guys use to do the connections.
And regards to the relay, according to the diagram is "com" connected the gree/orange wire while "NC" is connected to red buzzer wire.
Sorry I'm not that familiar with electrical stuff so I would appreciate any help.

Thanks guys!

Yeah im wondering the same exact thing...

here is the link... http://www.vqpower.com/v2/modules.ph...howpage&pid=39

.
. nc
no
.~~. .
coil com

Do you hook up the red buzzer wire to "no" (normally open) or "nc" (normally closed)? The site didnt specify plus im a newbie when it comes to these things.

is the link in question

I think that the red wire from buzzer goes to the relay "NO" pin and "COM" pin to the Green/Orange (for signaling open/close).
Does that make sense?

But do I just strip the cover and twist wires together and cover it with electrical tape? What do I do with the pins?

Thanks!

Have either of you figured out how it works yet?
What does the black wire connect to? Do we have to put a coil on the 2 coil pins.
Did you cut the orange wire and the green/orange wire completely? Or did you just slice them in half so that some wire is still going to the MCR and some wire is going to the relay? And where did you connect the orange wire to?

black goes to a chassis ground, and orange goes to either of the two coil pins.
