PIAA wiper blades?

Well, its time for me to change those nasty wiper blades I got.

Actually, i was at PIAA's website because I also have to replace a dead low beam bulb and I notice they also make wiper blades.

They got this silicone coated blade that supposedly makes water bead up better in rainy conditions. Sounds interesting.

Has anybody ever bought these who could say that they are better than OEM blades?

Here's what you should do...

I suggest you get the Bosch wiper blades. they are awesome and they won't be too expensive; opposed to the PIAA blades.

PIAA? The same people that make fradulent claims about their bulbs? 55w = 85w??

Stick with the BOSCH MICROEDGE.

Btw, keep the silicone and other window treatments off your glass, if you use a real glass polish type cleaner, your wipers will work far better. RAIN-X is terrible when it comes to removal time.

RAIN-X is good for side windows, mirrors etc, but not on the windscreen.

i found that using wd-40 on the blades rejuvinates them, but the oil probably eats away the rubber too. i use Castrol's water repellant on my windshield and it works great over 45mph.

Bosch are nice for the first month or two, but then they begin to suck big time. My advice, stick with OEM and Rain-X the glass. Trust me, I have Bosch on there right now. I was warned of this when I bought them, but didn't listen, and now I am paying the price for a new set of OEMs.

I just changed my oem blades after 20K miles of use. I decided to try out piaa's. They are expensive but so far they work great. They have cool little "PIAA" emblems on them to, hehe. PIAA even say's the designe increases wiper down force
