Is it possible to get BOTH a 7-1 AND a 6-4 code?

hello all:

for those who know, I HATE MY CAR because I can't figure out
my potential coil pack problem...So, I tried the "unplug and
see what happens method," and I didn't get any real results
as every pack I unplugged affected the RPMs.

The first time I unplugged 'em...no CEL.
Checked the CEL anyway --> received a "mulitple cylinder misfire" - expected.
I reset the computer, and did it again. This time, I received the
code for a cylinder 5 misfire (which I unplugged) as well as the
"multiple cylinder misfire" -- is this possible???

ALSO, when I fiddle around with the wiring harness underneath
the passenger side of the strut tower, the RPMs were affected...

OK -- OPINIONS???
