Help Needed....

jus got my y pipe put on and now i have the service engine light on. later today i put the heat on 80(have auto climate control) and 80 is cold but 85 is hott. is this an O2 sensor prob???and if so, how do i fix it. thanx in advance....

Did you let your ECU reset? My guess would be the O2 sensor, since that's what the only sensor you were messing around with. But, you might want to test your thermostat as well.

yeah i un hooked battery for an hour after driving it home this mornin, so thats not the prob. so im just gonna check O2 and thermostat.....

you need to reset the ecu manually, not from disconnecting the battery.

the ecu is by your gas pedal, you need to reset it using a screwdriver, there is a site with more info on this, do a search and you'll find it.

Also, see if the ECU is throwing any codes too.

fixed it yall thanx for tha help. all i had to do was the check engine ecu reset. guess it was just the y pipe that caused it...

From what I read on how to install the Y pipe, you will want to reset the ECU after messing around with something like that...
