Dressing up the Engine. Wire Loom?

I was thinking about puttin wire loom in my engine to dress it up a bit. But then again, dont want it to look cheesy. I would like your opinions on a color. My max is black, and mostly chrome. What color would you suggest for the engine in wire loom? (Besides Chrome, I herd when u bend it, it falls off and is very cheesy looking) thanx guys

u seen my engine already. I used to have alot more wireloom but it looks bad if theres too much I think. I took out most of the useless ones but left the ones that are actually holding bunches of wire together.

I have a black maxima with blue wire loom. I think I have a pic on my homepage. It's a bad pic though.

On a black Max you don't want it to stand out too much, so go with Silver.

If you wanna dress it up, but don't want the wire loom to really stand out, you could always just use black...

Like Wizzamax, I painted my hoodliner as well. I thought red was the best choice of colors for a black Max:

I have more pics on pg. 2 of my cardomain page.

wow, very nice and clean hood. I gave up on mine since it's so dirty, i just made it... bearable to look at now lol. Fry's Electronics (california) sells wireloom for 2 bucks.. it's like 14 ft of it too. They have black or white. I think i'm going to use the black for now to make it look somewhat clean and shiny.

Wouldnt you think white will get dirty fast and unless you clean them off all the time or else they will turn weird colors from getting dirty. I have a shop aorund here that charges by the foot so maybe look around a few shops.

i heard the paint of the wire loom can get onto your engine bay.. and i heard it's real hard to get off.... so i'm having second thoughts of gettin cheap wire loom.. but aren't they all made of same material?
