yo i need some help on what kind of paint should i paint my spark plug cover. im also going to need some directions on how to do it. and if you have any suggestions.

 

It's easy...... Purchase any high temperature paint in the color you want to go with. I have heard that Duplicolor paint works too. Decide how you want it to look before you begin, because you only want to sand what you are painting. If you want the best job done, purchase some fine sand paper and give the cover a light sanding. Wipe off any loose debris. Tape of the areas you do not want painted. Apply 2 - 3 even coats of the paint, letting it dry in between each coat. Lastly, to give the cover a shine apply 1 - 2 coats of clear acrylic spray. Peel off the tape when everything is dry and enjoy!

 

i used regular paint and i didnt have any priblems. The best way to do it is to strip the original paint, prime it, paint it and put some clear coat on it. Check my homepage for a picture.
