Discovered something cool about our gauges....

I was talking to someone last night and had my cell phone in my hands. I have a crappy old nokia, but I riced it out with a blue led board. Anyways....

I held the phone facing the gauges, and the light from the blue LEDs hit them. WOW! That looks cool! If anyone has a blue led or a phone with a blue backlight, try this. It makes a really cool blue backlight. Make sure you have the Headlights on, and it is night time. I think I may go to radio shack and install 2 or 3 leds in the black trim around the gauges.

I'll post a pic maybe tomorrow night if i can remember to take one.

this is true but the led's are much cheaper, much more unique and much more safer as far as problem free. Dozens of people have complained about sticking and other ish when using aftermarket needles or gauges...I for one would like to try this out before getting gauges and if it looks good, i'll keep it, otherwise reverse gauges coming my way....
