I also had a "bar" there. All you need to do is take a sharp blade and cut it out. I then installed some $20 driving lights from Kragen and have excellent vision now. Many people have commented on how good they look

I can also install them for you....I see your in NY? Im in NJ. If you dont feel safe trying this yourself, shoot me an email. It is not difficult, but some people dont feel to secure about cutting their bumpers,Or changing the turn signal stalk.
