I'm back: bought a 99 SE-L
Some of you old timers may remember me.... I was active on the forum from '99 until December 2001 when I sold my 98 Maxima for a new truck. Well, I sold the truck and bought a 99 SE-L last week (growing family meant the truck was not practical anymore). It's good to see some of the old crowd still here! My new SE-L has more options on it than my old 98 SE did (the new one has every option but it still has the 5-speed like my old car) but I miss the H&R/Tokico and Cattman SS Y-pipe that went with my old car. Oh well.....

hey Rich i also have a 99 SE-L, what kind of suspension components will you be looking at?.. i hear H&R and 5sp. tranny are not a good mix.. due to the high front end look.
i'm looking for a decent even drop all around. 1.5 inches the most. and stock like ride.

Thanks!
It's good to see some of the old names around here (where's Russ? Do I dare ask?) My new Maxima is real nice and even though it has 94K 1 owner miles on it (the previous owner had the mother of all commutes) it drives very nicely. I've done a few things since I bought it last week:
oil & filter change, PCV valve change as well
tranny fluid change (Redline MT-90 just like my old car)
NGK Iridium plugs (just like my old car)
Courtesy / Energy Suspension poly fsb & end link bushings (again, just like my old car)
I have a cheapo EBay $20 FSTB on order and I'll rip the useless bracket off the drivers side strut tower. I won't be buying the RSTB that I used to have - not enough of a difference felt there. I will, however, finally get a Stillen RSB (I use the beam to jack up the car and I'm afraid of the Addco's mounting position).
