Parking brake light

Parking brake light
Today while I was driving my parking brake light came on and it is stays on. I tried to pull parking brake up and down but it didn't change anything. What it can be? The switch? I looked in the Haynes repair manual and couldn't find where switch is. Can anyone help? This damn light is so annoying...
