No more heat??!!

I have a 95 Maxima GLE and this year I cannot get any heat (hot air). The engine gauge will now barely touch "C" and only goes higher if I sit in traffic for a bit. Once I start moving, the needle goes right back to "C". Never had this problem in (winters) past.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to check a number of things. Start with your thermostat. Also, you might want to check your coolant level, and maybe your coolant temp. sensor.

Sounds like your thermostat is stuck in the

open position. You are over-cooling your engine coolant. Also, your engine is probably always running "rich" because it thinks that you have just started up a cold engine. Try replacing the thermostat - cheap fix, and go from there.
