What are the hose sizes for our intake piping?

I searched, but am very frustrated by the 20 second wait till you search again feature currently installed on this great forum. I just like to know the the Adapter sizes i will have to buy for the hoses going to our intake. I am making a custom midpipe so i just want to clarify that the biggest hose is 1/2" and i have no idea what size the smaller hoses are. I have four hoses going to my stock airbox. I know one is not connected and is not important, so that basically leaves three hoses. I saw that alot of people have installed a small breather filter on their valve cover, but i recall reading a post by a respected forum member that this is not good to do. I would like to connect the midpipe to all of my hoses except for that one that isn't connected right now. So can someone please give me the sizes for the IAC hose and EGR hose and the Valve Cover Hose. (or rectify that it is perfectly O.K. to put a breather on. Thanks.

Just use the same sizeas in the car now. Take them out at the auto store and have them match it up.

Just use a caliper so you'll know for sure that you are getting the right sizes.

The reason i need the sizes is because im buying the adapters that the hoses will fit on to. Then im welding the adapters to the midpipe. So i just need the sizes to basically know what size adapters to buy. I do not have a caliper and i was hoping for a quick answer here. Also is it ok to install a breather fliter on the Valve Cover? Or will there be nasty side effects?

It is okay to put a breather filter on the crankcase....Justremeber to not put three outlets on the midpipe then....I beleive the hoses are both 3/4 ID (possibly 1/2). Almost positive.

i believe its an inch for the bigger piece, and then a...err who am i kidding....if you ahve the read me on building the mid pipe, just check it out, and they offer the recommended sizes..

and about 2 weeks ago, i was checking out the mid pipe (had it on for about 7 months now), and its still in good shape, no leaks....but my breather ....thing was just dripping in oil...i bought a new one, cleaned off the outside of the crankcase, and a little of the inside, but i havent checked it since....oil surely does build up in there, make sure you check it out often

breather filter is fine. Given me no problems. You should only need to buy one hose if you are going with the breather filter. The stock small hose will work fine and the larger one is 3/4 ID. I am sure, I just went out to my car and checked.
For some reason I think 95-96 have 3 hoses and 97-99 have 4?????

95 96 hoses

the front one is 3/4" i believe...but keep your receipt.

The back one was supplied by my Frankencar set up and is bit bigger. prolly 1"??

and the other one is a hose that you don't need. It's just there to let water drip out.

And for the piping itself, go to Napa and buy the 2" water hose, $15 a foot but really quality material that will last 20 years easily.

There is the worry i have, that does not sound too good considering no oil leaks with the pipe, i think i will get a 90 degree elbow there so the oil has less of a chance to get into the breather. Thanks.
