Transmission help
Hello,
Okay so the east coast got this big snow storm. Well I'm out driving in my 98 auto GXE with 50K on it. I notice that at lights in drive, when you press the gas the engine revs up to about 1800RPMS before the car starts to move. This is from a dead stop, wet road, but no traction problems. After 1800RPMS, the car runs like normal, no other problems with the tranny. It feels like/seems like the tranny is slipping. What is the cause for this? I had been previously using 1st and 2nd gear for hills.
Thanks!
