97 Pebble Beige Metallic Maxima w/Gen. 1 Black Chrome Altezzas

These are current pics of my car I painted my M A X I M A trunk emblem gloss black and I changed from the Gen 1 chrome Altezzas to the Gen. 1 Black Chrome Altezzas. I also removed every decal from my car after reading various posts and looking at other nice Maximas on these boards I realized how decals “hide” the true “value” of mods and the beauty of our cars. And when I had all the decals on my car you had to wash around them and be real careful so as to not wipe them off. Sometimes we all go through an experimental phase of modding, then we look back and say been there done that liked it when it was cool but not going back to that style of fad eg. GTR emblems, washer lights....and one day from Altezzas back to red/clears.

Thank You
-Will

I have never really had an opinion on altezzas in the past, but seeing the BLACK onse on your PB max definately looks good. I had a set of chrome ones for my PB max and never installed them b/c I saw a PB max w/ them and they looked bad (IMO), but on your max, those black chrome ones really look good. Good work. I have said it before, and I will say it again- PB maximas are the hardest ones to do visual mods to and have it look un-rice-y. Good job on yours!

Do you want to sell your other Altezza's? If so, PM me. Because I would like to buy them.

PS. Altezza's look good on the beige Max. I like how the Maxima emblem matches the tails.

i'm not the biggest fan of altezzas, but the contrast of the black and the light beige looks pretty good

I like the way the lights look with the dark emblem, much better than the old lights.

altezzas

i like your ride a lot. How hard has it to remove the rear M A X I M A logo and paint it? Also, how much did you get your spoiler for. I really like the nissan logo you put on the spoiler. Anyways, nice max.

thank you man for the props!

I no longer have any decals on my car at all......

....the spoiler is a 2001 MITSUBISHI GALANT GTZ Spoiler I bought it off of ebay a while back for $85.00

to remove the rear logo use some dental floss, fishing line or any kind of thread and slide it behind it and it will come off then take some goo-gone adhesive remover to get the rest of it off

to paint it I just used 5-6 light coats of paint

Nickstam - "are the decals for sale?"

they are all in the trash

Is that a CustomMaxima.com banner I see on the rear windshield? That counts as a sticker, doesn't it?

Good job William! Slowly, but surely you are coming around. Actually the black chrome Altezzas don't look that bad.

You can keep the Altezzas on, you don't have to go back to red/clears if you just do one thing for us...lower it!
