Alright so I tried to do the clearance light rewire and everything was fine. I then tried to turn on the lights and they wouldnt come on and neither would the side marker lights. My turn signals work, headlights work, fog lights work, everything else works except the clearance lights and the side marker lights. A blown fuse? I dont know. If it is where is this fuse located and where should i get a new one. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

As far as I know there are two fuse boxes in the max. There is one under your dash, right above you left knee, and one under the hood near the battery. I'm thinking that it's just a blown fuse, just check all of the fuses with a light up tester.

 

I just did a headlight swap and had to slpice many wires. I blew my parking light fuse twice. I am sure your problem is just a fuse. It should be one under the dash. The only light fuse under the hood is the headlight fuse. The plastic cover will tell you which fuse it is and where it is located. During my rewire I found that if the positive and negative parking light wires touch then it blows the fuse.

 

the clearance lamps run off the tail light fuse. there are 2 of them, one by your left knee and one under the hood. check em both. your welcome.

 

Yeah I wish I had known this before..I just got a ticket bc the officer said that my tail light running lights were off. the brake lights worked but only that... Ill be getting this fixed tomorrow and hopefully the ticket dismissed. Can someone tell me where I can get some fuses??
