Question About Blinker

I just got the Generation 2 clear tail lights installed and I replaced the rear blinker bulb with L.E.D bulbs because they look better and brighter but since then my turn signals are flashing too fast anyone have any idea why this is happening or how to fix.

I appreciate any help

when the turn signal is flashing too fast, it means that the bulb is broken/there is no bulb in there...since obviously you put on in, it must be busted...turn on your hazards and check all the bulbs in the front and back to see if they're all workin....there might be a chance that you blew a fuse with the LED's being too high of a wattage

This happens because the LED bulbs give less resistence. This change in resistance makes the car think that the bulb is blown, so it blinks faster. I believe all LED bulbs do this...

You'll have to live with it, or use standard filament bulbs.

Then why not try sodering in a resistor? Find the resistance on the standard bulb and the resistance on the LED bulb, subtract and add the appropriate resistor to make them equal. Anyone know if this would work?
