I know some of you are gonna think its ricey, maybe even all of you, but i bought a shift light for my car and need some advice on the install. The install seems pretty basic, red wire for power, blk wire for ground, green wire to ecm. My question is wich wire do i piggy back off of? What color is it? Also in the instructions it says 6 cyl. cars need to cut and loop the brown wire? I dont inderstand where the brown wire comes into the scene. The type of shift light is proform. Any suggestions?
